A Synthetic Stone. Grown in a laboratory, these are beautiful stones. Russia is the largest producer of Synthetic Ruby. |
In 1900, A. Verneuil constructed the first Synthetic Ruby. Ingredients are placed in a furnace; they melt as they pass through a heat of 3600 C converting it into liquid drops. These drops are allowed to crystallize. Once it is crystallized, a long cylindrical crystal known as boule forms. The inner crystal has the same properties, as of a natural crystal. Please try our synthetic ruby and enjoy the glorious color and look. Birthstone for July. |
